First on the list of questions you will be required to answer especially when approaching your fitness program is choosing the right workout split. This simply means identifying, the way you will schedule your exercises for the week.
Initially, I based my programme on what is currently in fashion: the so-called “bro split” from the stereotypes in fitness magazines and popular among the ordinary gym enthusiasts. This method entails working out the muscle once a week with high volume.
Over the time, when I strictly followed this schedule few years as indicated in this photo taken when I was 18 or 19 years, then I was able to make significant progress. However, with the benefit of hindsight, I sometimes think that would have been wiser than staying too long where I now know I would not be growing as quickly.
Exploring Alternative Workout Splits
Some other workout splits that are thought to be more effective than the bro split can include the following.
Upper-Lower Split
This method categorizes exercises into exercises done by the upper body and lower body. It enables one to have a good break in-between the exercising sessions.
Push-Pull-Legs Split
